A power cord, power supply, controller, 2 motion sensors (one for the top of the stairs, one for the bottom), 1 daylight sensor, 3 sensor extension cords, 1 main cable, a sensor mounting bracket, a cable tie, and 20 LED strips (one per step).

No electrician is required — it plugs into a standard wall outlet, so there's no rewiring of your home's electrical system. It is a cable-based system: you'll run the main cable along your staircase and connect each step's LED strip and sensor to it. Installation is easiest on open or unfinished stairs; some customers with enclosed staircases prefer a handyman for a cleaner finish.

One is placed at the top of the stairs and one at the bottom, so the lights turn on whether you're walking up or down.

It stops the lights from turning on when there's already enough ambient light, so they only activate when it's actually dark.

Yes — the controller has dedicated dials for Brightness, Time Delay (how long the light stays on after motion stops), and Speed.

The 20-step kit includes 33 ft of main cable, with connectors spaced every 40cm (about 15.8 in) to match standard stair spacing.

Yes. You'll have extra LED strips left over that you can keep as spares or use somewhere else, like a hallway or closet.

Up to 3m / 10ft away, within a 120° detection angle.

In motion-sensor mode, roughly 60-120 days per charge depending on how often it's triggered. In always-on mode, about 8 hours.

Each light charges via USB-C. A full charge takes about 4 hours. The charging indicator light turns off once it's fully charged.

Press the button once for Motion Sensor mode, press it again for Always-On mode, and a third press turns the light off.

No — it has a built-in light sensor, so it only activates when it's dark enough to need it, even if motion is detected.

It has a magnetic base for metal surfaces (like the inside of a metal cabinet), plus included 3M adhesive strips for wood, plastic, or any other surface.

About 15 seconds after it no longer detects motion.

Yes — it's cuttable at the marked lines along the strip, so you can size it to fit your space.

Almost always no. The strip's sensor is pre-configured before shipping, and cutting or handling it can require a quick reset. Press and hold the IC button until the indicator flashes, then press "+" until the entire strip lights up, and pause a few seconds — it finishes calibrating automatically.

Yes. Place Remote A at the end of the first strip and press and hold its pairing button to set that section flowing forward; place Remote B at the end of the second strip and pair it the same way so both sections light up correctly.

It's motion-activated, with adjustable sensitivity and how long it stays lit.

Yes — this strip runs on standard electrical power (24V) and connects via its included adapter, so it's not a battery or cordless model.

It's designed for indoor use — closets, stairs, and hallways. We don't recommend exposing it to rain or moisture.

It has a peel-and-stick adhesive backing — clean the surface, peel the backing, and press it into place.
